Getting married abroad is not always as easy as it seems. There is a lot of paperwork to be filled in, visits to the Embassy/Town Hall (which is even more difficult when they are on the mainland and you want to get married on an island!) and of course a number of days ‘residency’ is often required. I experienced all of this first hand when I married my lovely husband on a Greek island.
The most simple way around all of this is to get married legally in the UK and have an English speaking Celebrant-led ceremony in your country of choice! You and your guests will all feel like you’re at a ‘proper’ wedding and there is no need to even tell your guests that you’ve actually completed the legalities elsewhere.
I will do the research and together we will tailor make your ceremony, add your vows and ensure that this event is as bespoke and individual as it should be. With the added magic of actually being in another country, in the warm sunset on a beach or an equally romantic location chosen by you at your suggested destination.
